You can achieve positive, long-lasting lifestyle changes.
As a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I believe in bio-individuality and a non-dogmatic integrative approach to health that results in positive long-lasting lifestyle changes.
Step-by-step, I educate clients and give them the tools necessary to reach their goals and maintain good health.
Throughout my career I learned to respect the many stresses, obstacles to health, and lifestyle imbalances that come with being a busy traveling performer.
Issues of obsessive dieting and compulsive eating have plagued me since adolescence. Initially my desire for a greater understanding of nutrition and healthy weight management led me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Attending the Institute was a transformative experience and taught me how to nourish my mind, body, and spirit through a holistic approach. It has become a passion to share what I have learned with others.
In January 2016 I was diagnosed with a relatively unknown condition called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome or POTS. POTS is a form of dysautonomia, meaning the autonomic nervous system no longer correctly regulates automatic processes such as heart rate, breathing, blood pressure, and digestion. Through the help of my doctor and exercise physiologist, I have learned how to manage this complicated condition and believe a holistic approach including diet, exercise, and meditation are key components in my further healing. My mission is to raise awareness for this condition as well as support others who are suffering from chronic illness.
I draw on my love of music, running, yoga, and meditation to inspire and encourage my clients toward improved health.
